I think a tiny bit of physical description letting me know that vamps look like old fogies before that last bit of dialog would have helped. <br /><br />Max's characterization gets a little muddy in the middle where it seems like he gets upset that she doesn't let him lick the blood off her thumb. The act seems too physical/intimate for him to get upset about. Maybe if the focus was on the fact that it's a waste of blood rather than the licking, it would stay truer to character.twunoreply@blogger.com
